(Richmond, Virginia) Busman. Earl Patterson supports Reagan and ship architect, Willard Forbes, supports Ford. Both want most electable candidate. [FORBES - would be happy for either candidate to be president but will vote for candidate that can win.] [PATTERSON - says not backing Reagan philosophically but because he can win.] Reagan leads Ford in Virginia 3-1.

(Studio) Reagan's Florida campaign manager, Tommy Thompson, must vote for Ford because of Florida primary results. IN delegate, Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz, to vote for Reagan due to same type of law.
