(Studio) Stanford students vote to leave occupied building

(Palo Alto, California) Stanford refuses to call in police and National Guard as Governor Ronald Reagan requests. Protesters closed down electronics lab, protesting mil. research. Admin. promises to make changes if sit-in ended. 600 vote to end building occupation. [Student Body President Denis HAYES - says must tell education community about horrors here. Force board to do what major wants.] No violence because of mutual trust and administration patience. Communication open.
