(Studio) Black separatists' drive is opposite of HEW's goal of integration. Department of Health, Education and Welfare asks 5 states to integrate college systems.

(Millersville State College, Pennsylvania) 98% college white, as are 13 of 14 Pennsylvania colleges. Only 1 largely Negro.

(Cheyney State College, Pennsylvania) 83% black. Department of Health, Education and Welfare says Pennsylvania has racially segregated system and threatens fund cut-off. [Pennsylvania School Supt. Dr. David KURTZMAN - says students not forced to go to certain districts at college level.]
