(Studio) Attorney General John Mitchell asks Congress for tough legislature Asks them for right to deny bail for 60 days to people considered dangerous. Testifies before Senator Judiciary Sub. Committee for voting rights bill.

(DC) Mitchell says voting rights bill should be extended to all states. [MITCHELL - says all have right to vote. Voting rights national issue, not regional.] Admits present law stronger, but never for that point of it, anyway.
