(Studio) Are South Vietnam ready to do own fighting?

(Quang Tri, South Vietnam) Alpha 2 Base on edge of DMZ, hses. 250 South Vietnam and 3 American advisors. Conditions poor. Men pay for own meals. Soldiers lonely; high level of desertion. Good fighters, but some United States spokesperson feel will be years before South Vietnam can fight like Americans Not enough time.
