(Aspen, Colorado) Ski boom commercialized Aspen; hippies like area, too; hippies may elect sheriff, coroner, and county commissioner [Hunter THOMPSON - says wants sheriff power to change things.] Thompson will limit drug arrests to pushers who overcharge, rename Aspen "Fat City" to stop commercializing of name. [THOMPSON - says wants pollution stopped; better to have power and use it than try to destroy it.] [Sheriff Carrol WHITMORE - says Thompson promises idle.]
