(Studio) Reagan conts. delegate hunt in West Virginia Saturday Ford plans to spend wkend. going over convention strategy and looking at Vice President possibilities.

(DC) White House aides say they'll telephone unannounced number of potential Vice President candidates to see if they'd like to send resume for job. Ford met with SC delegates and picked up one, before going to Camp David for wkend. Special Watergate prosecutor Leon Jaworski being asked opinion on John Connally as Vice Presidential candidate. [CONNALLY - says hopes Ford won't go about Vice President choice as Carter did.] Connally plays down possibility of being Vice President choice but says he wants to talk pols. with President if he calls.
