(Syracuse, New York) Rockefeller's statement with regard to Republican platform not entirely reflecting President's views noted. Statement made 3 weeks ago in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Both Dole and Rockefeller question issue today. [ROCKEFELLER - says platform was compromise between Ford and Reagan representatives; doesn't reflect Ford's thinking. Says no one is bound by platform.] [DOLE - says Ford's every view may not be reflected, but President isn't running away from platform.] For. policy may be area of difference.
