(Studio) Record breaking grain harvest brings lower farm prices. Agriculture Department will increase subsidies by $600 million to reduce crops. Corn harvests reported on.

(Central Illinois) Farmers reluctant to sell because of abundant crop bringing very low prices. Much of crop being stored; brings better price than market price. Agriculture Secretary Clifford M. Hardin reports subsidy increases; American taxpayers to pay for these.
