(Studio) Memphis Mayor Henry Loeb orders 15 day curfew due to death of black teenager, Elton Hayes, in encounter with police. 23 police relieved of duty while investigation goes on.

(Memphis, Tennessee) Hayes' funeral held last night. Overflow crowd. Many concerned over police brutality. After funeral, some blacks on street Police copters stand watch. Fire bombings and arson occur. Some car windows smashed. Police on 12 hour shifts. Small crowd at burial. Loeb says city will survive.
