(Studio) Senator resolution urges President Nixon to cut United Nations funds. Senator James L. Buckley's resolution doesn't bind President to cut; only urges. Takes $196 million year to run UN. United States pays $56 million; USSR $25 million; Britain $10 million; China $7 million, and Canada $5 million. Some cntrys. withheld funds. Cntrys. owe United Nations $232 million. USSR owes $89 million; China $30 million; France $22 million and United States $12 million. Said United Nations foreign diplomats spend more in United States than United States gives UN.
