In Cleveland, Ohio, both races voting; possibly good for black candidate, Arnold River Pinkney. Good weather in San Francisco, California, good for incumbent Joseph L. Alioto. Record turnout for Kentucky Governor's race. Whites are voting in large numbers in Mississippi; bad for black governor candidate, Charles Evers.
