(Studio) Cleveland police and firemen jobs threatened.

(Cleveland, Ohio) Mayor Carl Stokes to lay off some police and firemen due to financial problems. [STOKES - says city expenditures must be brought in line with income.] [Fin. director Philip DEARBORN - explains options available to city cncl.] [Cnclman. Richard HARMODY - says council didn't participate in negotiations resulting in this situation.] [Sanitation men's union spokesperson Vito MAZZEO - will strike if any more men laid off.] [STOKES - says city may have to endure strikes, no alternatives.]
