(Studio) Poignant moment in higher education at Western State Correctional Institute prison.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) Allegheny Cnty. Community College graduates 6 prison inmates from 2-yr. school. [Convict Harry RUDGE - says many inmates not able to attain status in life; sees college program as opportunity.] [Mr. and Mrs. Neil MURPHY - say didn't mind letting Rudge stay in home as part of program; Rudge made them aware of many things taken for granted.] Rudge to be paroled next month; start at 4-yr. school in summer.
