(Studio) South Vietnam government says nothing illegal being done to prevent South Vietnam Vice President Nguyen Cao Ky from running for president; United States South Vietnam ambassador Ellsworth Bunker meets with President Nixon to discuss South Vietnam president election.

(DC) President Nixon worried only candidate opposing President Nguyen Van Thieu, Lieutenant General Duong Van Minh, may withdraw candidacy, leaving Thieu unopposed for re-election; Bunker expected to tell Thieu President Nixon considers choice in South Vietnam election essential.
