(Studio) Judge fines Union, Mobil, Texaco, and Gulf Oil Companies $500 each saying companies suffered sufficiently in cleaning up Sta. Barbara oil spills. Local district attorney to appeal.

(Santa Barbara, Cal.) In 3 years since oil spill, 4 oil companies have paid $4 million in private damage claims and District Judge says they have paid enough. [District Attorney David MINIER - calls ruling ridiculous.]
