(San Jose, Cal.) Company spends $700,000 on security for trial. Defense motions delay trial again. Miss Davis' supporters arrive in force. She pleads innocent to aiding San Quentin convicts to escape in 1970. Judge considers defense appeal to have charges dropped due to publicity. Prosecutor Albert Harris denies evidence against Miss Davis gathered by wire tapping. Demonstrators outside court dispersed by sheriff's deputies.
