(Studio) General Alexander Haig, Kissinger aide, on his way to United States after 2 days of talks with South Vietnam President Thieu. Thieu may have agreed to United States &South Vietnam proposed peace settlement, which calls for a cease-fire and new elections, or he may be demanding a political settlement be negotiated separately between him and Communists That, however, would not prevent Washington, DC and South Vietnam from going ahead with own cease-fire, United States pullout, and US-South Vietnam prisoners of war release. Thieu no longer considered obstacle to peace settlement. Way open for Henry Kissinger and South Vietnam's Le Duc Tho to open final round of negotiations
