(Studio) president communications director Herbert Klein predicts Nixon will carry 45 states in election. Says he may not carry Massachusetts, West Virginia, California, WI, and Michigan.

(Detroit, Michigan) Busing is major issue in Michigan. Alabama Governor George Wallace won Michigan Democratic primary. Traditionally Democrat Detroit backs Nixon to stop large-scale busing plan. Nixon sends Elliot Richardson to campaign for him. McGovern has been in Michigan 6 times to try to win back strength.
