(Studio) Social change takes place in Philippines under martial law of President Marcos.

(Manila, Philippines) Filipinos either very rich or very poor. Poor live on government land near canals. Crime high, no sanitation facilities. Under martial law, Marcos moves poor people out of Manila. Shacks torn down, ntls. and families moved to small town. Govt. clears land, builds schools, provides gardens.
