(NYC) There will be 31 Democrat govs., and 19 Republicans In West Virginia, Republican Arch Moore beats John D. Rockefeller IV. Democrat Dale Bumpers wins in Arkansas; Robert Moore in Kansas. Republican Christopher Bond wins in Missouri. Democrat Thomas Salmon wins in VT. Republican James Holsbouser wins in North Carolina. Democrat Arthur Link wins in North Dakota. Republican Dan. Evans wins WA. Democrat Dan. Walker wins in Illinois, defeating incumbent Richard Ogilvie.
