(Studio) West German inflation could cause defeat of Chancellor Willy Brandt.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(Mannheim, West Germany) Christian Democratic candidate for Chancellor, Rainer Barzel, calls for return to stability. Says vote for Brandt's Social Democratic party is vote for inflation. (Nuremberg, West Germany) Farmers raise prices of staples. Brandt says inflation has spread here. Voters like Brandt and his foreign policy, but not economy situation.
