(Studio) 200-300 soldiers die in Vietnam every day. United States Air Force sergeant Lewis Taylor killed like many others in Vietnam after October announcement of peace at hand.
REPORTER: Garrick Utley
(Johnson City, Tennessee) Taylor killed in Communist attack on American Air Force Base near Saigon. Taylor a career soldier. Wanted all North Vietnam soldiers out of South Vietnam before signing of peace agreement. Had wife and 3 children. [Mrs. Lewis TAYLOR - says voted for Nixon because felt he would end war. Is bitter over continuing war.]
