(Studio) North Vietnam suspends technical mtgs. between United States and North Vietnam with regard to peace agreement. North Vietnam also walks out regular Paris peace meeting

(Paris, France) 171st public session Vietnam peace talks suspended when North Vietnam and Viet Cong walk out in protest of renewed United States bombing. United States spokesperson David Lambertson calls suspension disappointing. North Vietnam spokesperson Nguyen Thanh Le says Nixon threatened to resume bombing even while recent secret talks going on. Le says threat made at every private session December 4-13.
