(Studio) California has tough antipollution laws, but results disappointing.

(Los Angeles, California) 90% smog in Los Angeles comes from auto exhaust. Cars required to meet standards or must be repaired or suitably equipped. Enforcement a problem. Mechanics have difficulty doing correct work. [Air Resources Board spokesperson John MAGA - says cars must be up to standard.] [Garage manager Ken LATHROP - says if do job according to law go out of business. If don't, get fined $500.00.]
