(Studio) Los Angeles "Times" says Clifford Irving admits he never net Howard Hughes, whose alleged biography he wrote. N.Y. "Times" says Irving offers government a deal to cooperate if wife, Edith,, isn't bothered by US or Swiss authorities. Irving's Attorney denies both stories. New York police handwriting expert says Hughes' signature forged in letters written to Irving.
