(Studio) Lower farm prices are blow to farmer, but help consumer as lower retail food prices help hold consumer price index for September to rise of only .3%. This indicates only moderate rate of inflation.

(Studio) On Thursday, White House said rising interest rates could push inflation higher. Today, New York City Bank raises prime rate to 7 3/4%. Other major banks expected to follow suit.
