(Studio) Angela Davis' trial begins. She is charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy in 1970 court shoot out.

(San Jose, California) Communist Party candidate for VP accompanied Hiss Davis to Court Charges read, process of jury selection begun. Defense Attorney Howard Moore will question prospective jurors on views on Communism and black people. Judge Richard Aineson said some questioning will he done in open court, some in closed chambers.
