(Studio) Japan Air Lines hijacking ends in Algeria, with hostages safe and terrorists surrendering. Ordeal began 6 days ago when jet was hijacked over India, forced to land in Bangladesh and took off again for Kuwait.

(No location given) More hostages were released in Kuwait after plane left Dacca and rest were released in stops at Damascus, Syria, and in Algeria. Fate of terrorists is no longer Japan's concern. Hostages released in Dacca are carried on to Japan, original destination of hijacked plane. (Algerian television film shown.)
