(Studio) In north South Vietnam, fighting near Hue results in heavy enemy loses. South Vietnam Fire Base under attack. In central highlands, fighting continues, but nothing decisive. On Rte. 13 north of Saigon, enemy surrounds An Loc, but South Vietnam reinforcements on way.

(Chon Thanh, South Vietnam) 7000 man force en route to relieve besieged An Loc. [American Adviser, Major General James HOLLINGSWORTH - says invading North Vietnam will be killed by air and ARVN forces. Praises South Vietnam troops.] Some North Vietnam killed, some captured.
