(Mindanao, Philippines) President Marcos declares Tasaday area a national sanctuary. 12 children of 24 member tribe are the hope for the future. 2 other groups far back in the forest to be located by Elizalde's Panamin Foundation. [Anthropologist Carlos FERNANDEZ - discuses importance of Tasadays as opportunity to study man in preceding state.] Panamin's helicopter breaks down and 46 member expedition group rescued by United States Air Force helicopter. General Lindbergh remains cool. Tipoli village welcomes group back with colorful celebration.
