(Studio) White House and Kremlin announce Presidential advisor Henry Kissinger has made secret trip to Moscow. He made efforts to keep upcoming summit alive despite growing differences in Vietnam. He also discussed Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) nuclear arms limitation talks. White House admits giving false statement that Kissinger was in Camp David with President Nixon.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(White House) [White House Press Secretary Ronald ZIEGLER - says April 20-24, Kissinger conferred in Russia with Secretary General Brezhnev and For. Him. Gromyko.] Kissinger filmed, but not for sound. This was his 14th secret trip.

(Studio) Kissinger said trip kept secret so speculation could be kept to a minimum during delicate phase of international relations.
