(Paris, France) During meeting at Hotel Majestic, United States Ambassador William Porter calls on North Vietnam to withdraw from South Vietnam. North Vietnam Ambassador Xuan Thuy calls charge of invasion absurd and calls on United States to stop bombing North Vietnam. North Vietnam politburo member Le Duc Tho may return to Paris to resume secret talks. [PORTER - hopes Le Duc Tho's presence will change North Vietnam stance.]
