(Studio) 2 days ago, Marine Corps phantom jet shot down south of DMZ (demilitarized zone) in South Vietnam. Pilot missing. Navigator-gunner rescued.

(Danang, South Vietnam) Air Force rescue team, with special copters called Jolly Green Giants, go behind enemy lines to save downed flier. Fire hose and champagne celebration greets their successful return. [Rescue pilot, Captain David KNUTSON - says area was covered with North Vietnam.] James J. Castonguay was rescued.
