(Studio) In Portland,OR, school children already on vacation.

(Portland, OR) To run schools costs $300,000 a day. Portland schools run out of money, close. [Portland School Supt., Dr. Robert BLANCHARD - says 73,000 children short-changed. [Teacher, Miss Mary Lou BYSOM - says children forget class national over vacation, and will lose much more this time.] Teachers took 10% pay cut to help.
