(Studio) Queen Elizabeth of Britain arrives in Auignon, France, in President Pompidou's limousine (which overheats).

(Paris, France) Queen arrives by "le jet," late because of "le traffic". She and Prince Philip will have "les meetings" with French officials, and "les cocktails" with diplomatic corps. "Franglais," or English words taken over by French people, dismays French leaders President Pompidou fears English, rather than French, will become language of Common Mkt. French Academy protects French language, but cannot stamp out Framglais. Mass media, business establishments, popularize English words.
