(Studio) In DC, chairperson Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon spksmen., and Secretary Defense Laird express concern about current Vietnam situation. Team of experts sent to study needs of South Vietnam.

(Pentagon) Mission will study how South Vietnam can be supplied, and what kind of new arms they need. No. arms lost in Vietnamization program will also be determined. 3rd Div. is virtually decimated, with weapons abandoned.
