(Studio) Arthur Bremer pleads not guilty to state charges of having shot Alabama Governor George Wallace.
REPORTER: Garrick Utley
(Upper Marlboro, MD) Small town like armed camp when Bremer brought to county courthouse from Baltimore. FBI agents, United States marshals, local and state police form protective guard. Proceedings last 15 minute, Bremer returns to Baltimore jail. Bremer's court-appointed attorney hopes to have him tried 1st on Federal charges, but Maryland officials eager to press state charges.
