(Studio) During American Airlines flight, blast thought to be bomb rocks plane. It was actually a mechanical failure, but that caused problems.

(Detroit, Michigan) Door to cargo hold blows open. Decompression blows hole in floor of passenger compartment. Coffin falls from hold, is found near Windsor, Ontario, Canada. [Pilot, Bryce MCCORMICK - describes incident.] Passengers bound for Buffalo, New York, spend night in Detroit, Michigan. [Passenger, Alan KAMINSKY - says there was stark fear when preparing for crash landing.] [Mrs. Alan KAMINSKY - thought she would never see children again.] [Vincent FABRIZZI - says this is 4th such emergency on flight.] National Transportation Safety Bd. investigates accident.
