(Crewe, England) Rolls Royce hires fanatics to road test new cars for 150 mile before delivery. Chauffeur John Baldersten make sure ride is so smooth one can sip a glass of champagne at 80 mph. Sound expert Frank Eaton hunts down, hammers away body work noises. Obsessive dedication to quality pays off; production can't keep up with demand, even with prices of $35,000 each [EATON - describes corrections he can make by riding in trunk.]
