(Chesapeake Bay) Heavy rain has diluted amount of salt in bay water, killing soft shell clams and oysters. [Clam wholesaler, Melvin SPITZ - hopes clam business can recover in a year or 2.] [Clam dredger, Willard JONES - says his bad break is no worse than others.] It's the greatest econ. calamity ever to befall Chesapeake Bay.
