(Studio) Secretary of Treasury George Shultz, attacks McGovern's tax proposals.

(DC) Shultz asks about the effect of McGovern's proposals on taxes of lower-income people. [SHULTZ - says it would have to raise middle-income taxes.] Admin. spokesmen have come out to criticize most of McGovern's proposals, keeping Nixon above the battle and McGovern on the defensive.
