(Studio) Colorado's AFL-CIO labor council and the parent union organized in Washington, DC are having a bitter dispute over Colorado's AFL-CIO endorsement of McGovern.

(Chicago, Illinois) [George MEANY - says Colorado council has no right to run contrary to an AFL-CIO policy.]

(Denver, Colorado) Team from Meany's executive head came to Denver to hold hearings. Examiners will report to Meany next week [Philip HORNBEIN, Colorado state labor council - says it's a silly procedure. It is clear examiners here will prosecute local cncl.] [Paul HALL, president Seafarers' Union (Meany representative)-says his group will resolve matter to the best of their ability.] The Colorado council will go to court challenging the union constitution if Meany throws out the cncl., thus threatening Meany's overall control.
