(Studio) Senator Armed Services Committee holds hearings on former Air Force General John Lavelle's alleged unauthorized bombing raids on North Vietnam. New York "Times" reports Lavelle got permission from superior officers for ordering illegal attacks. Chairperson joint chiefs of staff, Admiral Thomas Hoorer; then South Vietnam commander, General Creighton Abrams said to have okayed raids.
