(Studio) Before dawn, 5 Arab terrorists slip into Israeli qtrs. at Olympic Village kill 2 Israeli athletes (wrestling coach, Moshe Weinberg and weight lifter Josef Romano), hold 9 Israelis hostage. Terrorists demand airplanes, Israeli release of Arab guerrillas. Copter takes terrorists and hostages to military airfield. Shooting erupts. 3 guerrillas found wounded at Olympic Village. West German police and Army personnel surround activities. Terrorists said to be members of a Palestine guerrilla group dedicated to destruction of Israel, called Black September

(Munich, West Germany) [Young man who accompanied Israeli team to Olympics describes escape of some athletes from Arabs. Says Israelis cannot go anywhere without guards and are losing freedom due to terrorism.] [Israeli says his government won't fulfill demands of terrorists as that would invite further terrorism.] Police move men and equipment into Village via underground garage. Demonstrators call for cancellation of games. International Olympic Committee suspends all Olympic events for 24 hrs. West German Interior Min. Hans-Dietrich Genscher, Munich police chief, Olympic official talk with terrorists. West German Chancellor Willy Brandt arrives to director negotiations. 3 copters carry terrorists and hostages to mil. airport for flight to Cairo, Egypt. Shooting erupts at airport, guerrillas said shot, hostages reported to have been freed. Arab terrorists found stabbed at Olympic Village, apparently wounded by fellow Arabs for trying to help hostages.
