(Studio) Soviet Premier Kosygin meets with Egyptian President Sadat in Cairo, Egypt. State Department reports little progress on negotiated settlement.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(DC) State Department refuses to confirm Kosygin's presence in Cairo. Secretary State Henry Kissinger and Russian ambassador Dobrynin meet each day without much success. Kissinger probably won't leave for Peking, China, unless positive new developments in negotiations occur.
