(Studio) Saudi Arabia agrees to supply France 1/4 of all its oil exports. Persian Gulf oil cntrys. double crude oil's price; Kuwait's oil minister warns of higher prices. Non-Arab oil country expected to increase prices some time ago.

(DC) Energy czar William Simon thinks oil price increases to cause 8-11 cents gasoline price increase per gallon [SIMON - says incrd. prices to reduce gasoline demand.] Simon questioned about rationing. [SIMON - says incrd. oil prices won't affect government's thinking with regard to rationing.]
