(Studio) Senator hears energy administration William Simon discuss administration's plans to deal with energy crisis.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(DC) [Senator Edmund MUSKIE - doesn't believe current plans will solve problems.] [Senator Henry JACKSON - presses for administration's decision on gasoline rationing.] [William SIMON - states rationing machinery could be started at end of December; any rationing program couldn't be implemented till March.] Simon hopes gasoline rationing won't be needed.
