(Studio) Perhaps crime does pay and to fight city hall is losing battle.

(Eau Claire, WI) 2 years ago, Steve Alm kidnapped; father borrowed $50,000 to pay ransom. $20,000 ransom money still not returned to Alm family; 1 kidnapper used missing ransom to pay off federal farm loan. Dr. Don. Alm tries to get money returned for over 2 years [Mrs. Donald ALM - believes case slightly unusual but not difficult.] [Don. ALM - believes crime does pay.] Federal government shouldn't accept stolen money in payment for loan.

(Studio) Justice Department says Congress must pass law to get money back; Alm's Congman. believes Justice Department could give authorization.
