(Studio) Graffiti getting out of hand in NYC.

(NYC) Last year city spent $1/2 million to repaint subway cars disfigured by graffiti. [Graffiti task force spokesperson Stephen ISENBERG - says wants judges to give those caught writing graffiti job of cleaning up areas covered with graffiti. Is violation of law to carry open spray paint can in New York City into any public facility.] Most graffiti writers poor, teenaged and male. Graffiti Artists United meets at home sociology student. Mbrs. write graffiti on paper or canvas, not on streets and subways.
